ESSD worked with their partners to develop an E-Michigan Park Stewardship website; develop and publish a guide book on park BMP’s which cover waste management, energy efficiency, water conservation, environmentally preferable purchasing and green buildings. Associated training was provided to the park officials. Project staff sought input from partnering organizations about additional opportunities for education and outreach.

MDEQ assisted park officials with demonstration projects associated with the P2 and BMPs implemented at the state park offices. A pilot Kiosk system was set up at one Michigan state park to promote park practices; provide community P2 information.
