Description:H2E created a support network to help hospitals attain measureable reductions in toxics and waste by implementing sourcre reduction and P2 programs. This network will facilitate peer-to-peer information exchange; provide technical assistance and tools; assist with the SEP development/approval process; document measurable reductions in waste, mercury and hazardous chemicals; and promote NYC's work nationally. This program involved public education, training, and demonstrations all to prevent pollution at health care facilities.
