  • The Governor's Institute on Community Design is a national, nonpartisan effort to assist governors and their top staff as they consider investments in their communities’ future and help citizens and local governments navigate options in land use, housing, development, transportation, land preservation and community design. Modeled in part after the National Endowment for the Arts’ successful Mayors’ Institute on City Design, the new Governors’ Institute on Community Design will hold several workshops each year to bring the resources of the Institute directly to each state and region.

GLRPPR is a member of the Pollution Prevention Resource Exchange, a national network of regional information centers: NEWMOA (Northeast), WRRC (Southeast), GLRPPR (Great Lakes), ZeroWasteNet (Southwest), P2RIC (Plains), Peaks to Prairies (Mountain), WSPPN (Pacific Southwest), PPRC (Northwest).
