  • At Wright College, we offer education and training in Environmental Technology and workplace health and safety. These programs are available on our campus and at off-site locations, such as the workplace. We offer asbestos and lead training and OSHA required training for employers. Our program awards Associate Degrees and Certificates to increase skills that will help with job advancement, such as the OSHA 40-hour Hazwoper class. Students can take introductory to advanced classes to learn about EPA and OSHA requirements. Pollution Prevention Education Classes are offered that explain the system of labeling hazardous materials for shipping products, explain National Fire Protection Association standards, DOT and other labeling requirements. Experienced professionals who have had many years of fieldwork and a practical background in the subject matter teach all environmental technology classes. The Wright College campus has state of the art equipment to use for practice demonstrations and hands-on activities. Our laboratories are modern with all safety features in place.
