  • The Annis Water Resources Institute (AWRI) is a multidisciplinary research organization. The mission of the Institute is to preserve, protect, and improve our natural resources. AWRI seeks to accomplish this mission through: research into major questions about water resources, aquatic conservation, land use change, air quality, and waste management; public education for a variety of groups ranging from school children to adults; and outreach to ensure that decision makers are equipped with the best knowledge available on environmental issues.

GLRPPR is a member of the Pollution Prevention Resource Exchange, a national network of regional information centers: NEWMOA (Northeast), WRRC (Southeast), GLRPPR (Great Lakes), ZeroWasteNet (Southwest), P2RIC (Plains), Peaks to Prairies (Mountain), WSPPN (Pacific Southwest), PPRC (Northwest).
