Abstract:
This Michigan Department of Environmental Quality pollution prevention (P2) program promotes elimination of non-essential uses of mercury, including the Mercury Phase-out in Schools. The program's web site also contains information on mercury-containing products and alternatives, mercury spills, best management practices, companies that process mercury waste, and the mercury pollution prevention task force.
