GLRPPR Sector Resource: Sources of Mercury in Industrial Facilities

Title:
Sources of Mercury in Industrial Facilities

Abstract:
Developed by the Great Lakes Regional Pollution Prevention Roundtable (GLRPPR), this document is intended to be a guide to sources of mercury in non-mercury producing industrial facilities in order to encourage proper handling and elimination of the toxic material. Some common sources of mercury, such as mercury in health care equipment (e.g. blood pressure cuffs), are eliminated from this directory because they are not generally found within industrial facilities.
