Great Lakes Binational Toxics Strategy Workgroup Activity Update, Fall 2003

Abstract:
This Great Lakes Binational Toxics Strategy (GLBTS) report provides an update on workgroup activities during the later half of 2003. Updates are included on the following workgroups: mercury, PCB, dioxin/furan, HCB/B(a)P, integration, and long-range transport. This report also includes information on the Emerging Pollutants Workshop, held in August 2003, the dates for GLBTS meetings, and a chart that outlines the progress made by both the U.S. and Canada toward the challenge goals agreed upon in the GLBTS for Level 1 substances.
